There are over 20,000 people, most of them victims of war who use prosthetic limbs. In addition to providing artificial limbs, the Project also remodelled limbs as required by 1/3 of its clients. This project, funded by INGO’s lost their support when the Sri Lankan Government ordered INGO’s out of the country! AMAF along with the Rotary Club in Sri Lanka came to its rescue funding the project so this important service to the community may be continued.
